The virtual online world of Second Life allows people to create everything they want and explore it while interacting with other visitors from all over the world.
It is being used for entertainment, fun, chatting, etc.
But it can also be used for education and I use it for ‘time travel’.
I have created a neighbourhood in the amazing city of Berlin during one of its ‘golden years’, the 1920s.
Lots of research and countless hours of work has gone into creating this 3D area that allows visitors to explore the streets, nightclubs and famous landmarks as they looked back then.
