As a Historical consultant for film, tv, museums and authors, I spend a lot of time researching my specialty; daily life during the 1930s & 1940s.
Trying to locate the exact location of some unique photos I found at a local market, I used the computer as a tool to compare the old image with the picture I made at a location I thought might be the same spot.
I liked the result of this and decided to make more of such ‘Then & Now’ combined pictures, not for research purposes, but for my entertainment and as a way to share my passion for history, to make people stop and think about the things that happened not that long ago on spots they may walk passed every day.
