Emigrating from UK to Australia 1950′s
More scans of my Mums old badly stored slides. These are from the 1950′s when she became a “ten pound pomme” and emigrated to Australia for £10. The whole journey too about 6 weeks by boat during which time, for a girl that hadn’t been further than the local sea side, she got to see some incredible sights
