From the song — to the tune of the Colonel Bogey Whistle March
(the Bridge Over the River Kwai Theme)

Hitler, has only got one ball,
Goering, has two but very small,
    Himmler, has something simmler,
But poor old Goebbels has no balls at all.

Incidentally, I seem to recall seeing photos, probably from Life magazine, of life-size versions of the Hitler pincushion — plus Mussolini and Hirohito models as well — being used during War Bond rallies and drives.

The ‘one-ball’ story was supposedly ‘proven’ by soviet doctors after they recovered his charred body in 1945.
However, seeing as his body was apparently later lost, it is now believed that this was simply propaganda, to make Hitler seem more alien, less of a ‘real’ man, and thus easier to hate and harder to see as a human being with some severe mental and physical problems.

I actually inherited both of these pin cushions from my late father in law. Trying to figure out what to do with them…
