I’m pretty sure that last one is the building in Kings Road that was used as the record shop in A Clockwork Orange… now it’s a McDonalds :-(

Howie, you are dead right. That was the Chelsea Drugstore, now sadly a McDonalds. Very depressing indeed!

Did The Fool do that Carnaby Street paintwork? It reminds me of the image decorating the Beatles offices at this time that had to be painted over due to complaints.

The Pop shops were part of the Gear, and Kids in Gear shops, and were painted by my staff I think. Hard to remember some of the detail from those days. It looks similar to my book Carnaby Street, and those graphics were by Malcolm English.

The corner shop graphics do look like The Fool, and we did work with them, but it wasn’t one of mine so not sure. I think Warren Gold of Lord John might know.

Is that Apple’s Boutique in the 6th picture? Never seen a picture of it without the painting (which was awesome by the way)

If I had a time machine, I’d go into any one of these shops and just say “I’ll have ……. the lot please”

Just for the record, the picture credits at the top of this capsule are incorrect. The two photos from Kevin Chamberlain are numbers 10 and 11 (I know, because it’s me). That means some of the other credits must also be wrong.
