Reply Robs September 12, 2011 So you expect it to include an MC-1 owners manual $7.95? Reply Mark Hodgson September 30, 2011 What year, what mag? Reply Alan Bickerstaff April 16, 2012 Hmmm… Need to get trading standards onto this seller! It’s not a “space suit”, it’s a G-suit, used to prevent blackout in high-G plane manoeuvres. Did they not think that having “inside pockets” might be a bit of a waste of time in a space(or pressure) suit? Reply Eoanthropus August 17, 2012 I used to see this ad in copies of Famous Monsters of Filmland and also some early ’60′s comic books. Reply Mike Barnett October 7, 2012 It’s backwards, all right. Here’s some more info on the suit, and the surplus issuance (and subsequent recall!) http://www.astronautix.com/craft/mc3.htm Reply Viktoria October 27, 2012 I won’t mind to get one for eight bucks. Reply Casiquire February 16, 2014 I’d re-think that. I’m not sure if you’d want one for “eight bucks” because adjusted for 1969′s inflation, it would cost you $55 today. And this might have been an ad from earlier than 1969 so that figure is a low estimate! Reply PhotoboothJournal February 16, 2014 Thanks for the fabulous link Mike Barnett!
